Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable and treatable cancers—yet in the Philippines, far too many women are diagnosed too late.

Every day, 12 Filipinas lose their lives to cervical cancer.

This is not because solutions do not exist—but because access to screening remains limited.

With over 54 million women in the Philippines, only about 1% have ever been screened for cervical cancer. Barriers such as lack of awareness, limited healthcare infrastructure, and unequal access—especially in rural communities—continue to put lives at risk.

🔵 HPV Vaccination: The First Line of Defense

Cervical cancer is largely preventable through HPV vaccination, ideally given before exposure to the virus.

CerviQ works alongside LGUs and partners to:
